《大人社團》與蹦藝術執行長林仁斌老師共同推出「弦音美技,國際小提琴大賽」,將從賽事的角度帶領大人們貼近音樂,老師將以長期關注各項國際賽事的豐富學養,拆解賽事特色與演奏分析,你可以跟著老師的節奏聽出音樂更豐富的情感,看見更絢爛的色彩,細細品味每個人對樂曲的不同詮釋,也享受追賽事的期待感,體驗更有層次的音樂盛事。

為什麼會以國際賽事為主題呢?

國際大賽是每年為了讓各國年輕優秀音樂演奏者能夠以自身努力站上國際舞台的最佳機會,獲獎之後不但能夠得到國際之間最高關注,更有機會在獲獎後的高聲勢之下展開演奏事業,可說是百年來的重要的傳統。

克萊斯勒國際小提琴大賽起源

「克萊斯勒國際小提琴大賽」是奧地利最重要的小提琴比賽,比賽源起可追溯到1938年之前,由小提琴家克萊斯勒(Fritz Kreisler)本人捐助大賽籌辦經費,並由維也納學院(現為維也納國立音樂與表演藝術大學)所舉辦的,設立目的是為了選拔出當時學院中最優秀的小提琴演奏者們。

有鑒於本賽逐漸累積國際名聲,1979年起正式走向國際化,開始升級為國際小提琴大賽,讓各個國家的小提琴家都能夠在舞台上一同競賽。知名小提琴演奏家耶胡迪·梅紐(Yehudi Menuhin, 1916-1999)也擔任評審團主席。而也就自1979年開始,國際克萊斯勒協會即維持每四年在維也納金色大廳或維也納音樂廳舉辦一次克萊斯勒國際小提琴大賽。

MA, Tianyou • China, 29.10.2000

Tianyou Ma has been a top prize winner in numerous international competitions including the Sendai International Music Competition, Menuhin Violin Competition, the Postacchini Competition, the J.S. Bach competition and the Chicago Violin Competition. Tianyou studied at the Elder Conservatorie of Music since 2010, where he was awarded a full scholarship to study with Keith Crellin from 2010-2013. Since 2014, Tianyou was awarded a scholarship at The Yehudi Menuhin School and studied violin with Diana Galvydyte. He was then awarded a full scholarship from the Music and Dance Scheme in the U.K. from 2016 – 2019. In August of 2019, he started undergraduate study with a full scholarship at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, studying with Pamela Frank and Shmuel Ashkenasi.


YUMI, Arata • Japan, 01.02.1992

After his prize-winning success at the Long-Thibaud-Crespin International Violin Competition in 2018 and the 14th Henryk Wieniawski Competition in 2011, Arata Yumi performs at international halls with orchestras such as National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra under Conductors such as Krzysztof Urbański, Andrea Battistoni, Mikola Dyuadjura and Xian Zhang. As a keen chamber musician, he has shared stage with artists such as Martha Argerich, Michel Dalberto, Midori Goto and Alexander Rudin at music festivals such as Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Musikfestival Ernen. He has received several awards including the Barocksaal Award Kyoto, Aoyama Music Award Kyoto, the 1st prize of Kiefer-Hablitzel Music Prize Berne. He studied with Zakhar Bron and Ilya Gringolts at the Zurich University of Arts and with Erich Höbarth at the University of Music and Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig.


LEE, Anna • USA, 11.07.1995

Anna Lee began violin studies at the age of four with Alexander Souptel, making her solo debut two years later with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra under Lan Shui. She has performed in festivals around the world such as the Marlboro Music Festival, Verbier Festival, and the Kronberg Festival. As a soloist, Anna Lee made her New York Philharmonic debut in 2011 and her Frankfurt debut in 2016 under conductor Christoph Eschenbach and the Hessische-Rundfunk Radio Orchestra. She has also claimed top and special prizes in the 2019 Montréal and 2018 Indianapolis Competitions. Anna Lee’s teachers were Masao Kawasaki and Cho-Liang Lin at the Juilliard School Pre-College Division and Ana Chumachenco at the Kronberg Academy. In Boston, she studied privately with Miriam Fried and Don Weilerstein while studying poetry and philosophy of music in the Department of Comparative Literature at Harvard College. Currently, she is studying with Ani Kavafian at Yale School of Music.


MATSUOKA, Seina • Japan, 02.12.1993

Seina has won many prizes in various competitions in Japan. In 2019, she was selected as a semi-finalist in the Queen Elisabeth Competition. In 2022, she received the 1st Prize at the 26th International Chamber Music Competition “Giulio Rospigliosi”, and the Jury Encouragement Prize at the 8th Sendai International Music Competition. She has taken part at the Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy OKUSHIGA. She performed at the “Palermo Classica” festival and regularly plays in Italy, Austria, Slovenia, and Canada. She was selected for the Anny Felbermayer Stipendium in 2020, and the Rotary Foundation Scholarship in 2021. Seina was the winner of the Full Special Scholarship at Soai University. She studied with Prof. Machie Oguri, and since 2017 she has been studying with Michael Frischenschlager and Peter Schuhmayer at the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna. 


Lee, Catherina • Australia, 10.12.1996

Catherina Lee gave her first public recital at the age of 9 subsequently making her debut with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra at the age of 13, performing Tchaikovsky's violin concerto. At the age of 15, she was accepted into the class of renowned violinist and teacher, Gerhard Schulz, at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She is currently mentored by Janine Jansen. Next season Catherina Lee will perfomr with collaborative pianist Hyungki Joo, at Sektlang Festival, Styraburg Festival Steyr. She will also make her German debut with the Göttinger Symphonie Orchester. Catherina plays on a GB Guadagnini, Turin c1771 on loan by a private sponsor.

SEREBRENNIKOV, Dimitry • Russia13.05.1992

Dmitry Serebrennikov entered the Special Music School of St. Petersburg Conservatory in 1999 in the class of Professor Vladimir Ovcharek. He finished his studies in St. Petersburg in 2010. The same year, Dmitry moved to the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne and studied with Pierre Amoyal. In 2012 he continued his studies at the HKB Bern with Bartlomieij Niziol (Concertmaster of Zurich Opernhaus). Dmitry is a laureate of various international violin competitions such as Premio Rodolfo Lipizer (Italy, 2010, 2nd prize, 1st prize was not awarded), most recently Mieszyslaw Wajnberg International Violin Competition (1st prize), and the “Classic Strings” International Violin competition. Since 2017 Dmitry is working as a full-time member (1st violin) of the “Philharmonia Zurich” in Zurich Opernhaus and is one of their youngest players.


SANT´ANNA e SILVA, Guido Felipe • Brazil, 28.06.2005

Guido Sant'Anna began to study violin at age 5 with Marcia Uhlemann. At 7 years old, Guido's talent was discovered by conductor Julio Medaglia who took him to his first solo concert, accompanied by a chamber orchestra. In 2013, he started taking classes with teacher Elisa Fukuda and stood out on the national scene. Guido has performed as a soloist with orchestras in several cities in Brazil and abroad with recitals and duets. In April 2018, he achieved a historic achievement: he was the first Brazilian/South American to be selected to participate in the Menuhin Competition in Geneva, Switzerland and he also surprised everyone by being a finalist. He won the 6th prize, the Audience Award and the Chamber Music Award. After 2018, Guido joined The Perlman Music Program, attending their summer courses. Today Guido still studies with Elisa Fukuda, and plays an Iorio violin from 1833, kindly provided by the Caris Foudation.


FHEODOROFF, Fanny • Austria, 23.07.1996

Fanny Fheodoroff appeared as a soloist and chamber musician at venues including Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, Beethoven-Haus Bonn, and Laeiszhalle Hamburg. She is a scholarship recipient from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben and was kindly loaned a violin by Marino Capicchioni (Rimini, 1962) from the German Music Instrument Foundation. Fanny is a recent graduate of The Juilliard School as well as the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama London, and the Academy of Music and Theatre Hamburg. Her passionate devotion to community engagement led to a desire to promote a more non-traditional violin repertoire and explore works of historically underrepresented composers of different genders, heritage, race and culture. In 2021, she was awarded a Career Grant from Juilliard to record an album dedicated to female composers, which has been released in early 2022.


MASOKA, Eri • Japan, 05.09.1992

Eri Masaoka studied from 2010 to 2014 in Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid with Marco Rizzi, Mario Hossen and Sergey Teslya. In Madrid, Eri received "Outstanding Artist of the Year" awards in 2011 and 2013, personally presented by Her Majesty Queen Sofia of Spain. She then moved to Viviane Hagner at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts. From the same year, she was trained by Silvia Marcovici at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. She also studied with Lewis Kaplan in New York. She has performed as a soloist with the Orchestre Symphonique et Lyrique de Nancy, the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra and the Chubu Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Jonathan Schiffmann, Uros Lajovic and Kazuyoshi Akiyama. She won the 2nd prize at the 2nd Concours International de Violin de Mirecourt in France, she is a prize winner at the 'Vaclav Huml' the 10th International Violin Competition in Zagreb and in 2020 she was awarded first prize at the Bonn International Music Competition in Germany. Eri performs on an instrument kindly on loan from Nippon Violin Co. Ltd.


HANDLER, Laura • Germany, 19.09.1998

The German-Colombian violinist Laura Handler has won prizes at the Concorso Ruggiero Ricci, the Novosibirsk International Violin Competition and the Queen Sophie Charlotte Competition, among others. Her teachers include Zakhar Bron, Paul Roczek and Harald Herzl, with whom she completed her studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. She received additional impulses from artists such as Maxim Vengerov and Vadim Repin. She has played as a soloist with numerous orchestras, such as the Salzburg Chamber Soloists and the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra and has given concerts at festivals such as the LvivMozArt Festival, the Schleswig Holstein Festival and the Stars & Rising Stars Festival, where she performed alongside cellist Daniel Müller- Schott. Laura is an academist at the Munich Philharmonic. She is a scholarship holder of Live Music Now, the Cusanuswerk Study Foundation, the Liechtenstein Music Academy, and the Villa Musica Foundation, which gave her the Pietro Guarneri violin "ex Schubert" (1702). 


TING, Belle • Canada, 05.05.2000 丁章媛

Canadian Violinist Belle Ting has won prizes in competitions including the International Thomas and Evon Cooper Violin Competition, the 24. International Johannes Brahms Competition, the International Isaac Stern Violin Competition and most recently, the 16th International Khachaturian Violin Competition, where she also won the Audience Award. Born in Taipei, Belle began her musical studies at the age of seven and studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Dora Schwarzberg, where she was one of the youngest recipients of the university's CARSA Rising Star Award. Belle has performed with the orchestras including the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Symphony Orchestra, Moscow State Philharmonic and the Odense Symphony Orchestra and has played at numerous festivals including the Verbier Festival in Switzerland and the International Kirishima Music Festival in Japan. Her performances have been featured in ORF "Licht ins Dunkel", Classic FM Taiwan and medici.tv: In November 2021, her debut album “Impressions” was released by KNS Classical. She currently performs on an Ansaldo Poggi violin from 1968 on loan from a private sponsor.


FUKUDA, Murasaki • Japan, 05.05.1997

Murasaki Fukuda is studying with Michael Frischenschlager at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien MDW, in Austria. She won the GranPremio at 7th Concorso MusicArte, the third prize at the 4thJapan Violin Competition, Best New Artist Award at 53. Japan International League of Artists (JILA) Competition, she was Semi-finalist at International Johannes Brahms Competition, she won the first prize at 20th KOBE International Music competition in Japan and Grand Prize Virtuoso in Austria, International Music Competition Treviso, Italy. She played many times as a soloist with orchestra, performing Brahms Violin Concerto in Kobe, Japan, and Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante in Kobe, Japan and Salzburg, Austria. She has been doing charity activities in music since she was 10 years old, and Japan Red Cross gave her a silver award in 2018.


ISPIR, Luka • France, 31.10.1998

Lukas Ispir is artist-in-residence under the supervision of Augustin Dumay at Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel. He studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris with Olivier Charlier, and continued his studies at the Hanns Eisler School in Berlin with Stephan Picard. He has performed as a soloist with the Normandy Orchestra, the Appassionato Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Accademia della Scala in Milan and he won national and international prizes in the competitions of Vatelot-Rampal and the Young Norman Talent, as well as the 2nd prize at the Vittorio Veneto Competition in Italy in 2021. He was invited to the European Chamber Music Academy at the Pablo Casals festival, by the chamber music festival in Giverny, the Evian musical encounters, the Jaroussky Academy and the Kronberg Academy, and performed with the Philia Trio in many festivals in France and abroad. Luka Ispir plays a violin by the famous luthier Pressenda, generously lent by the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.


CHEN, Tong • China, 21.09.1997

Tong Chen hails from Shanghai and is an avid soloist and chamber musician. He has performed at many international competitions such as the Hong Kong International Violin Competition, the Vancouver International Music Competition, Ysaye International Violin Competition, and Schoenfeld String Competition. Tong Chen performed in many festivals including Verbier Music Festival, Festival de Granada, Ehingen, and The Chamber Music Workshop at Perlman Music Program. As a chamber musician, Tong has performed with many famous musicians such as Ida Kavafian, Colin Carr, Vivian Hornik Weilerstein, and Paul Biss. Chamber Music plays an important role in his musical career. Tong was coached by Areta Zhulla, Itzhak Perlman, Merry Peckham, John Heiss, Saeunn Thorsteinsdottir, and Vivian Hornik Weilerstein. He received both Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the New England Conservatory under Miriam Fried, Paul Biss, and Donald Weilerstein.


CHOI, Elli • USA, 04.09.2001

Elli Choi has performed throughout North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East at esteemed venues such as David Geffen Hall, the David H. Koch Theater, Carnegie Hall, Maison Symphonique de Montréal, Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall, the Berliner Philharmonie, Abu Dhabi Palace, collaborating with orchestras such as Symphonique de Montreal, The Juilliard Orchestra, Philarmonique de Monte-Carlo, the Novosibirsk Philharmonic, Salzburg Chamber Soloists, and the Sofia Philharmonic Corpus Christi Symphony. Elli Choi has most recently won 3rd prize at the Classic Strings Competition in Dubai 2022, the 2nd  prize at the Zhuhai Mozart Competition in 2019 and was the winner of the Monaco World Music Masters Competition in 2016. Elli is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at Columbia University simultaneously enrolled at the Juilliard School where she has been studying since 2009 at the Pre-College Division.


SEKINE, Lisa-Maria • Austria, 28.02.1996

Lisa-Maria Sekine is an Austrian/Japanese violinist. She holds a Diploma from the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna, Austria, and is a member of the Zakhar Bron Academy in Interlaken, Switzerland. She is a Prize winner of various kind of International Violin Competitions such as the Valsesia Musica Violin Competition in Valsesia, Italy, the Johannes Brahms Violin Competition in Pörtschach, Austria and various more. As a soloist Lisa-Maria performed together with different kind of orchestras as the: Polish Baltic Frédéric Chopin Philharmonic Orchestra, Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra, Czech Budweis Philharmonic Orchestra, Zakhar Bron Chamber Orchestra, Austrian Pro-Arte Orchestra ect. Lisa-Maria is currently playing a Sanctus Seraphin Venice 1748 „Ex Hamma“ on a kind loan from the National Bank of Austria.


LU, Jiaqi • China 30.08.1997

Jiaqi Lu is a violin undergraduate at the University of Music and Art Vienna supervised by Elisabeth Kropfitsch. She also studies chamber music under Johannes Meissl. In 2009, she was admitted to the High School Attached to Shanghai Conservatory of Music where she studied under Professor Chenxing Huang. In 2015-2016 school year, she served as the concertmaster of the String Orchestra of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She won several international competitions, including the 10th National Violin Competition China in 2012, the 6th Hong Kong International Violin Competition in 2016, the Chamber Music Competition of Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2018, Brahms International Violin Competition in 2020, and the Kreutzer International Violin Competition in 2021.


ABOUZAHRA, Amira • Germany, 25.12.2005

Amira studied with Alexander Gawrilenko, Gábor Homoki and Eszter Haffner, and since 2019 she is a student Dora Schwarzberg at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She made her orchestra debut at the age of seven. As a soloist, Amira has since performed with orchestras such as the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Concerto Budapest, Kremerata Baltica, Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, Budapest String Orchestra, Opera Orchestra Budapest, MÁV Symphony Orchestra and many others. Amira has performed at numerous venues worldwide, such as Lincoln Center New York, Philharmonie Berlin, Cairo Opera House, Covent Garden London, Royal Opera House Muscat, Alexandria Opera House, Palace of Arts Budapest, Budapest Music Center, Expo Milano, Old Parliament House Singapore, Europe Palace Strasbourg and the Pearl Tower Shanghai. She has been invited to perform in numerous festivals like Festival Academy Budapest, IMS Prussa Cove, György Cziffra Festival, Operalia Gala by Plácido Domingo, etc. She won 1st prizes at the A. Grumiaux International Violin Competition (Belgium 2020), Oradea 2021, Ilona Fehér Violin Competition in Hungary (2017), among others. Amira was a scholar of the Domhof Foundation and is a member artist of Yehudi Menuhin’s Live Music Now. Together with her sister Mariam, Amira recorded all works for 2 violins by Hungarian composer Sándor Szokolay for the Szokolay Foundation and she currently plays on a Tononi violin (1760).


Lee, Jiyoon • South Korea, 04.01.1999

Jiyoon Lee is a Korean violinist, born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She was selected from the Kumho prodigy concert audition and Kumho Young artist concert. She has won the first prize at the Ewha & Kyunghyang concours and she was awarded from renown national concours and concerts. In college, she participated and played multiple performances as concert master of both SNU Symphony Orchestra and SNU Philharmonic orchestra. In addition, she performed with SNU string Ensemble during that period. She graduated cum laude from Seoul National University, and she is now studying for master’s degree at the same school. Since college, she has been studying under Prof. Young-Uck Kim.


CHUNG, Wonbeen • South Korea, 12.11.1997

Wonbeen Chung completed her Bachelor’s degree at the age of 21 with Prof. Mi-kyung Lee at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, Germany and her master’s degree with Prof. Pierre Amoyal at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. She has won numerous national competitions and has also performed with the Korean Chamber Orchestra and Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2015 she made recital debut in Korea at the Kumho Arthall as Kumho Young Artist. She has also participated in the Tibor Varga International Music Academy, the Savonlinna Music Academy and Salzburg international summer academy. She received the Youth Development Prize of the International Violin Competition Leopold Mozart and was a finalist of the International Violin Competition Henri Marteau. In 2019 she won the 2nd prize in the Postacchini international violin competition. Since 2021 she has been a scholarship student at Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Salzburg.


WALDER, Julian • Austria, 19.10.2000

Julian Walder, born 2000 in Vienna, won the 1st Prize at the der NY Intern. Artists Association/USA (NYIAA) with a half an hour Recital in the Carnegie Weill Recital Hall in New York in October 2018. He received many international 1st prizes, among others, the Grand Prix of the Grumiaux Competition in Belgium. As “best of” winner of Musica Juventutis, Julians recital at Vienna Konzerthaus was broadcasted in the evening program of ORF Ö1. He gave concerts in the USA, Russia, Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and Austria (e.g. Vienna Musikverein and Konzerthaus). As an artist of the Spanish Recording Label KNS Classical he published his CD “Faust” in 2021 worldwide. Currently he is studying with Natalia Prishepenko in Dresden and has his own masterclass at Summer Academy Lilienfeld since 2022. Julian is playing a G.F. Pressenda, Turin 1854 (private loan).


BOURG, Claire • USA, 26.02.1995

Claire Bourg has appeared as a soloist with several orchestras, performing in such venues as Chicago’s Orchestra Hall, the Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, and Jordan Hall. Recently, Claire was a soloist with the Camerata Bern as part of the 2021 Joachim Competition, and was awarded the second prize at the 2020 Barbash JS Bach Competition, as well as the 2021 Luminarts Fellowship. A passionate chamber musician, she has attended festivals such as Marlboro, Yellow Barn, Ravinia, Taos School of Music, and IMS Prussia Cove. She also performs regularly with the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players and Music for Food and has been a part of Curtis on Tour several times. Ms. Bourg has an artist diploma from the Curtis Institute of Music where she studied with Pamela Frank and Arnold Steinhardt, as well as a bachelor’s degree from New England Conservatory studying with Miriam Fried. She is currently a recipient of the Kovner Fellowship at the Juilliard School studying with Joseph Lin.


NUSSBAUMER, Raphael • Switzerland, 07.03.2006

Raphael Nussbaumer was born in Altendorf in 2006. He started playing the violin at the age of 4 and was accepted into the violin class of Philip A. Draganov at the age of 6. He has received several first prices with distinction in the finals of the Swiss Youth Music Competition, and he has also been successful internationally: 2nd Prize at the " Andrea Postacchini" violin competition and at the "Louis Spohr" violin competition, semi-finalist at the Menuhin competition. As a soloist he has already played the great violin concertos with various orchestras, e.g. with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, the Biel Symphony Orchestra, the Fanz Schmidt Chamber Orchestra Vienna and the Camerata Zurich.


ZALETEL ČERNOŠ, Rok • Slovenia, 07.11.1998

Rok Zaletel Černoš won the 2nd prizes in the Valsesia Musica International Violin Competition and the Stefanie Hohl International Violin Competition, and 1st prizes at the Young Virtuosi Zagreb International Competition, TEMSIG National Competition, Niš International competition, Trieste Ars Nova International Competition. He played as a soloist with orchestras internationally, performing Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Brahms and Mozart violin concertos. His recording of Mendelssohn violin concerto in E-minor, with the AgUL Symphony Orchestra recorded by RTV Slovenia, earned him the very honourable Prešern Prize of the Academy for Music Ljubljana. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana under Vasilij Meljnikov and is currently completing his Master’s degree at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien with Anton Sorokow.


SHIM, Dongyoung Jake • South Korea, 06.07.2001

Dongyoung Jake Shim gained international recognition most recently winning 1st Prize and Bach Prize at the Stulberg International String Competition in Michigan, US. After winning a prize at the Irving M. Klein International String Competition in San Francisco he was one of the laureates at the J. S. Bach Competition. Last season, he appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras including the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra and Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra. He gave debut performances on three different continents including venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Alice Tully Hall. Dongyoung has performed in various music festivals including the Perlman Music Program and Heifetz Instititue. He is currently an Artist Diploma candidate at the Curtis Institute of Music studying with Ida Kavafian and Shmuel Ashkenasi. His former teachers include Donald Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory. He plays the 1705 G. B. Rogeri, on generous loan from the Sooyoung Art Trade in Korea.


WANG, Xiaozhuo • China, 13.04.2007

Xiaozhuo Wang he began to learn violin when she was 3 years old. In 2016, she was admitted to the Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory. In 2019, she was admitted in the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts, where she is currently studying violin in Professor Dora Schwarzberg’s class. She has won several awards: in 2012 she won the Gold Award of Fengling Cup of National Youth Violin Competition; in 2021 she won the 3rd prize of the Wieniawski Lipinski International Violin Competition junior group, the 2nd prize of Ernst&Szymanowski International Violin Competition. In 2022 Xiaozhuo won the 1st prize in the Arthur Grumiaux Violin Competition and she was finalist and prize winner for the Classical Strings International Strings Competition.


AHONEN, Iidamari • Finland, 30.04.2003

Iidamari Ahonen studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin with Prof. Mark Gothoni and at the Sibelius Academy with Petri Aarnio, the principal concertmaster of Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Iidamari has also participated in masterclasses with professors including Yair Kless, Jan Repko, Per Enoksson and Jari Valo. She has earned recognition in several violin competitions including 1st Prize in Juhani Heinonen Violin Competition (Finland) in 2019 and 2nd Prize in 2016, 3rd Prize in Arthur Grumiaux Violin Competition (Belgium) 2015, 1st Prize in Giovanni Musicisti Violin Competition (Italy) 2014, 1st Prize in Kaunas Sonorum Competition (Lithuania) 2013 and 3rd Prize in Young Musician Competition (Estonia) 2013. Iidamari has performed as a soloist with orchestras including Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra. She is kindly loaned a violin by Pierre&Hippolyte Silvestre from the OP Group Art Foundation.


SIBILEVA, Arseniya • Russia, 31.05.2001

Sibileva Arseniya has been a prize winner in numerous competitions. She won the 3rd  Prize at the Leonid Kogan International, and 1st Prizes at the VII International “Russia-Europe Young”, the XV International Violin Competition of the Central Music School; XVIII, XVII and XII Delphic Games of Russia, Delphic Games of the CIS countries, “Young Talents of Russia” award, and "Jumeirah Sounds" in Dubai. She is the absolute winner at the “Virtuoso 2017”, Rudolph Matz in Croatia (Grand Prix), “Magic bow” (Grand Prix), and Ludwig van Beethoven International Violin Competition in Austria. She is also a recipient of the "Golden talents”, “New Names of Moscow” and the Russian State Scholarship award (2013). As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras such as Mariinsky Theatre and St. Petersburg “Cappella” in St.Petersburg, Rostov, Samara, Kaliningrad, Tula, Vyatka, Sochi, Orenburg. Arseniya studies since 2019 in Moscow State Conservatory “P. I. Tchaikovsky” with Sergey Kravchenko.


OHNO, Yukari • Japan, 23.02.1995

Yukari Ohno won prizes at international competitions including Valsesia Musica International Competition in Italy, International Violin Competition Vasco Abadijev in Bulgaria, International Queen Sophie Sharlotte Violin Competition in Germany, International Competition for Young Violinist in Honor of Karol Lipinski and Henryk Wieniawski in Poland, and she won the first prize at the Princess Astrid International Music Competition 2021 in Norway and also took a solo engagement with the Trondheim Symphonie-Orchester, a recital in Bergen in cooperation with the International Edvard Grieg Competition, and career consulting with Andrew Ousley (Unison Media). She had several concerts as a solist with orchestra at international music festivals. In Vienna she plays as a soloist in Stephansdom with The Vienna Chamber Orchestra in every summer season. She has already peformed as a soloist and a member of the chamber music at Mozarthaus Vienna,Schuberthaus, Wiener Musikverein and Muth. She graduated in Toho Gakuen Music High School in Tokyo as a top student and got the Solist Diplome Course of Toho Gakuen College Musik Department under Prof. Akiko Tatsumi. Now she is student in the Music and Arts University of the city of Vienna under Prof.Boris Kuschnir.


SAKAMOTO, Reika • Japan, 14.11.1997

Reika Sakamoto has won numerous awards such as the 1st prize of the Romanian International Music Competition in 2015, the Music Award of the 25th ABC Audition for New Artists’ Concert in 2016, the Grand Prize at the Global Music Partnership Concerto Competition 2018, the 1st Prize at the European Soloist Competition, 2nd prize in memoriam of Stefan Balkanski at the Sixth International Violin Competition “Vasco Abadjiev” 2021. She has also worked as a soloist with orchestras such as the Savaria Symphony Orchestra, Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra, and Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic Orchestra. She completed her studies at Toho Gakuen College Music Department (Soloist Diploma Course) under Koichiro Harada, and the Master program at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne. Currently, she is studying at Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien under Pavel Vernikov.


ZHELEZNY, Leonid • Russia, 16.03.1994

Leonid Zhelezny graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of Alexander Vinnitsky, where he also took an assistant-traineeship under his guidance. He won many international competitions as the Ludwig van Beethoven Violin Competition in S. Pölten (2nd prize), the International Music Competition in Stockholm in 2014 (1st prize), the Leopold Auer Violin Competition in St. Petersburg, 2015 (2nd prize), the Vladimir Spivakov Competition 2016 (3rd prize), the Václav Huml Violin Competition in Zagreb, 2017 (2nd prize), the International Music Competition in Harbin 2018 (3rd prize) and the All-Russian Music Competition in Moscow, (2nd prize). He is recipient of the Grand Prix at the International Violin Competition in Astana. Leonid performs in Russia and abroad, and collaborates with conductors Alexander Rudin, Sergey Bezrodny, and Joachim Gustaffson, among others. 


KOGAN, Daniel • Kanada, 17.02.1993

Daniel Kogan was born in Toronto, studied in Moscow with Maya Glezarova, Sergej Kravchenko and Irina Svetlova. He later moved to Maastricht where he continued his studies with Boris Belkin.  He was a regular student at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and participated and performed at the Verbier Festival in 2019.   Daniel Kogan is a laureate of Lipinski, Yampolski & Jacques Thibaud competitions and has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, such as Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, Odessa Philharmonic and Sendai Philharmonic. He is currently artist in residence of the Moscow Philharmonic and Recording artist of Melodia label. He performs on a Niccolò Amati from an anonymous loan. 


SHAHAM, Michael • Israel, 19.06.2003

Michael has been playing the violin since the age of six as a member of a family of musicians. He won scholarships from the America Israel Cultural Foundation with honors since 2013. In 2019, violinist Vadim Gluzman granted Michael with the promising young violin award from the Arkady Fomin Foundation. Michael has performed as a soloist with the Israel Philharmonic, the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, the Netanya Kibbutzim Chamber Orchestra, the Rishon Lezion Israeli Symphony Orchestra, the Beer Sheva Symphony Orchestra, the Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Tel Aviv Soloists and the Israel Chamber Orchestra. From 2019 Michael studies at Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia with Shmuel Ashkenasi and Ida Kavafian. In Israel, he studied at the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv, with his father Hagai Shaham and Guy Figer.


ANDREEVA, Maria • Russia, 04.02.2001

Maria Andreeva is studying at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky-Conservatory in two faculties: violin with Sergej Kravchenko and piano with Vladimir Ovchinnikov. She is a double winner of the IX and X Tchaikovsky International Competition for Young Musicians in two categories (violin and piano). She was awarded by the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation the 1st prize in All-Russian competition Young Talents of Russia. She won also the Grand-Prix at the 4th Manhattan International Music Competition (New-York, 2019) and 1st prize at the 3rd Berlin International Music Competition (2019). Maria performs in Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Spain, Hong Kong, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Belarus, Lithuania, including in "Mozartfest" (Germany), "Rheingau Music Festival" (Germany), Ljubljana festival (Slovenia), Morellino Classica 2017 (Italy), festival "Bolshoi” (Serbia), Shostakovich XX Century (Russia) among others.


BESMAN, Kristina • Russland, 09.11.1994

Kristina studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Victor Pikaizen and Eduard Grach, where she also received a master's degree. She won several international competitions, including the violin competition in Kyiv, the youth competition in Norway and the violin competition in Yakutia "Violin of the North". Kristina has been invited to the most significant festivals in Russia and abroad, including the Youth Arts Festival in Paris, the December Evenings festival, the European Voix Etouffees in Strasbourg, and many others. She regularly performs in Russia, Spain, Italy, France, and Germany. She currently lives in Vienna and is studying with Igor Petrushevski.


ARAI, Yurina • Japan, 23.11.1994

Yurina Arai graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 2017 and is currently studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Dora Schwarzberg and Lothar Strauß. She has won numerous awards, including the first prize and two special prizes of the 2017 International Jascha Heifetz Competition, second prize at the 2017 Prague Spring International Music Competition, first prize at the 2018 International Competition Young Virtuosos, and 2016 Grumiaux International Competition for Young Violinists, and second prize (first prize not awarded) at the Valsesia Musica International Competition. Yurina has appeared as a soloist with orchestras such as the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Romanian Mihail Jora Philharmonic Orchestra, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, New Japan Philharmonic, Yamagata Symphony Orchestra, and others. Yurina plays on a 1721 Pietro Guarneri on loan from ITOH General Incorporated Foundation.


YOSHIMOTO, Rino • Japan, 26.02.2003

In 2019, Rino Yoshimoto performed solo debuts in Carnegie Hall and Vienna Musikverein. She has performed with orchestras including Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, Bulgaria, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Italy, and Kobe Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan. Rino is a current student of both Prof. Michael Frischenschlager at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and Prof. Augustin Dumay at Queen Elisabeth music chapel. Rino Yoshimoto is a prize holder of numerous international violin competitions including the Fritz Kreisler International Violin Competition 2018, the International Johannes Brahms Competition 2017-19, and the Padova International Music Competition Italy 2018. She performed for Queen Mathilde of Belgium in December 2020 and was elected to the 2020-2021 Rohm Music Foundation scholarship student, in Japan.Rino plays a violin made by Giuseppe Guarneri in 1697 in Italy, courtesy of the foundation Boubo-Music Switzerland. Next engagements will see touring Spain with the Wiener Kammerorchester.


SEKI, Tomotaka • Japan, 28.08.1998

Tomotaka Seki made his orchestral debut at the age of ten. In 2018, he has been awarded the First prize at the Tokyo Music Competition, and subsequently given engagements to perform concertos and recitals throughout Japan. He has performed with various orchestras including Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. Tomotaka’s musical talent and passion expand beyond the solo career, and he has been very active with his quartet, The Cercatore Quartet. He also performs with the NHK Symphony Orchestra as its Academy student. Tomotaka currently continues his studies at the Tokyo College of Music as an Honorary Scholarship Student under the tutelage of Koichiro Harada and Mayuko Kamio. He has a Francesco Gobetti 1703 on special loan from Nippon Violin Co.


LEE, Miyeon • South Korea, 21.05.1994

Miyeon began playing the violin at the age of 4, and she went to study at The Julliard School Pre-college with Professor Hyo Kang. During this period, she participated at the Aspen Music Festival & School. Miyeon made her first solo debut with the International Sejong Soloists in New York. She did her Bachelor at Korea National University of Arts with Professor Nam Yun Kim and she is currently studying in Hannover, Germany, at Hochschule für Musik Theater und Medien Hannover with Professor Ulf Schneider. In 2016 Miyeon won the 2nd prize (1st prize not awarded) at the International Valsesia Music Competition, and she has participated in many international competitions such as Yehudi Menuhin, Prague Spring, Shanghai Isaac Stern, Postacchini, Joseph Joachim, ARD, and Jean Sibelius. Since 2019, she is a scholarship holder at Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now. Miyeon recently played concerts with Göttingen Symphonie Orchester under the baton of Nicholas Milton.


SAITO, Aoi • Japan, 13.10.1997

Aoi Saito started playing violin at the age of 5 with Ami Watanabe. After completed her bachelor’s degree with Prof. Asako Urushihara, Prof. Natsumi Tamai, Masafumi Hori at the Tokyo University of the Arts, she started studying her master’s degree with Prof. Latica Honda-Rosenberg at the Berlin University of the Arts. She won the 1st prize at the Osaka International Competition, Kobe International Competition, Violinwettbewerb der Ibolyka-Gyarfas-Stiftung in Berlin, and was semi-finalist at the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition and the International Sibelius Violin Competition and participated in the Seiji Ozawa International Academy in Switzerland. As a soloist Aoi has performed with Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and in various festivals including the Miyazaki International Music Festival and La folle journée in Tokyo.


POCITARI, Lilia • Moldova, 26.09.1997

Lilia Pocitari was born in the capital of Moldova – Chișinău, in a family of musicians. She began playing the violin at the age of three. Lilia is currently studying for Master of Music at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Prof. Ulf Wallin and for Certificate of Performance at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt in Vienna with Julian Rachlin. In 2019, Lilia completed her bachelor’s degree at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv in the class of Ilya Konovalov. Lilia has won prizes in international competitions in Romania, Lithuania, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan. She has performed with conductors such as Julian Rachlin, Zubin Mehta, Patrick Strub, Juhani Numminen, Neil Thompson, Vladimir Spivakov, and others.Lilia plays the 1779 Nicola Bergonzi violin and François Nicolas Voirin bow, kindly loaned by Alpha Capital Anstalt.


MOON, Jason • USA, 20.09.1999

Jason Moon completed his Bachelor of Music degree at the Juilliard School under Li Lin. Born in San Francisco, he graduated in 2017 from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College, where he studied with Wei He. Jason has won numerous competitions, including the Ronald Sachs International Music Competition and San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition, and was recently a semi-finalist in the International Jascha Heifetz Competition. He has performed as soloist with the San Francisco Symphony and Peninsula Symphony, among others. He is also an avid chamber musician, and performs at several summer festivals, including the Music@Menlo Young Performers Program, Taos School of Music, and Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival. Jason will begin his Master of Music at the Colburn School with Martin Beaver in the fall of 2022.


ZHAROVA, Galiya • Russia, 22.11.1991

Galiya Zharova graduated with honours from the Central School of Music in 2010 and the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory in 2017, as assistant of Alexander Vinnitsky. As a soloist she has performed with such orchestras as the Svetlanov State Academic Symphony, Almaty Philharmonic, Kaliningrad Symphony, Symphonica Arctica, Philharmonic Orchestra of Kaliningrad, Turku Philharmonic (Finland), the Minsk Philharmonic, under conductors Marius Stravinsky, Eduard Grach, Fabio Mastrangelo, and others. In 2017 Galiya performed 24 caprices of Paganini at the Rachmaninov Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. She won numerous competitions: 1st prizes at the Beethoven (St. Pölten), Postacchini (Fermo), Astana, Ysaye (Liège) Violin Competitions, and 2nd prizes at the David Oistrakh in Moscow and Leopold Auer Violin Competition.


HO, Kingston • USA, 27.05.2001

Kingston Ho began playing violin at the age of five. He currently studies with Cornelia Heard at Vanderbilt University as a Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholar and is a recipient of the Jean Keller Heard and David Rabin prizes. He has previously taken lessons with Victor Danchenko, Robert Lipsett, Philip Setzer, and Duoming Ba. Kingston was a fellowship recipient at the Aspen Music Festival and has played in masterclasses with Augustin Hadelich, Tessa Lark, and Ida Kavafian, among others. A 3-time member of the National Youth Orchestra of the USA, Kingston was a semifinalist in the 2021 Premio Paganini International Violin Competition and 2018 Johansen International Competition as well as a winner of competitions such as the Vanderbilt University Concerto Competition and National YoungArts. He also reached the quarterfinals of the 2022 Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition and won 1st place in the 2022 MTNA National Chamber Music Competition as part of the Eunoia String Quartet.
